This box is made of gasoline-soaked balsa wood. It's a really bad design. If it gets lit on fire, it will burn up instantly. A few select items can be tempered by fire though. Perhaps you could store them inside and see what happens when it burns?
This item can be placed in two directions, depending on the direction you're facing.

The Highly Combustible Box is an unsplicable chest foreground block that was added alongside Firefighter Pack on October 8, 2015.
Function
Being a chest, a Highly Combustible Box can be punched to be opened or closed. When opened, the chest will act as a non-solid block, and items can be dropped inside in order for them to be stored; when closed, nobody can see or access the items, and the chest will become a solid block.
Additionally, it also acts like a Mystery Pinata, allowing players to drop specific items inside, and when set on fire, can create new items. After bursting, a Combusted Box will be left, which can be broken by anybody.
