When equipped, the Mining Mech grants the Punch Damage: Mining Mech mod, which allows the player to break blocks faster and break Cave Dirt, Dark Cave Background, Magic Infused Stone and Magic Infused Stone Background in a single hit.
Step 17 of the 
Quest Of The Mech requires the player to deliver 5 of this item.
