When equipped, the Pet Blood Dragon grants the Punch Damage : Blood Dragon Pet mod, which allows the player to break blocks faster. Additionally, it summons a blood dragon pet which follows the player around and changes its appearance whenever the player punches, moves, or becomes stationary.
Trivia
- The Pet Blood Dragon is based on the titular hostile creatures found in the first-person shooter Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, which was developed by Ubisoft Montreal.
- The color-changing behavior of the pet is based on how Blood Dragons would indicate their mood visually with their bio-luminescent skin; green means that it is in a passive state, yellow means that it has been agitated, while red means it has fully become enraged.
- During UbiWeek 2022, the Pet Blood Dragon could be obtained using a Geiger Counter. As of UbiWeek 2023, the Pet Blood Dragon is only obtainable from UbiCrates.
