When equipped, the Pontianak Pet grants the Build Range: Pontianak Pet mod, which allows the player to build one tile further. It also summons the pet Pontianak that follows the player around.

- The Pontianak Pet is a reference to Kuntilanak, also known as Pontianak, a mythological creature in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. The Pontianak is often depicted as a long-haired woman dressed in white, and it represents local variations of a vampire.
- The Pontianak Pet's description is a reference to the lyrics of Girls Just Want to Have Fun, a song recorded and performed by American musician Robert Hazard, who released it as a single in 1979. The song is best known for the version of American singer Cyndi Lauper, who covered the song in 1983.
