The Tainted Cheese is an unsplicable hand item which was added as part of the Challengers Approach! update.
Function
 The stinkier the better.

When equipped, the Tainted Cheese grants the Malady Increase: Tainted Cheese mod, which allows the player to have a higher chance of getting a malady upon performing a successful surgery.
It will also summon a sewer rat pet which will follow the player around. Unlike 
Dark Doctor's Cloak, this item does not increase the odds of contracting another player with a vicious malady.
