The Weather Machine - Background is a weather machine that was released on the 4th day of Player Appreciation Week 2017. However, the item was first made available during the Hidden Riches update.
Function
It allows players to cover a world with a certain background to make it look as if the backgrounds were placed. As the machine covers the entire world with a certain background, placing actual transparent backgrounds over it will simply display black, behind it.
