KYDERBY/2023

After the departure of former voluntary Moderator Sabaei, Support Specialist @Rimanah & voluntary Veteran Moderator @Misthios took over the hosting of the Kentucky Derby event.

A total of 164 Mint Juleps were awarded to race winners for the 2023 Kentucky Derby, on top of the 20 awarded to the world-building contest winners. Mint Juleps were no longer able to be received for random trivia questions due to their increasing value, however, a Growmoji Moyai was awarded to trivia winners instead.

World Building Contest

A world-building contest is held throughout April as a preliminary to the actual racing event. The deadline for world submissions is set at 08:00 PM GT time on Sunday, April 30. submitting their own race worlds through a forum thread, players in the community will get a chance of having their worlds selected as the official race worlds during the Derby. 20 race worlds will be selected from the pool of entries. The players who have built each of these worlds will be given a Mint Julep.
