KYDERBY/2024

Kentucky Derby 2024 was hosted by former Support Specialist Rimanah & voluntary Veteran Moderator @Misthios. This is the first year that the process of Mint Julep distribution was changed to prevent cheaters winning the races & obtaining Mint Juleps. Instead of being traded live during the event, race winners were noted down and checked post-event, when this was completed all eligible winners had a Mint Julep added to their inventory.

A total of 277 Mint Juleps were awarded to race winners for the 2024 Kentucky Derby, on top of the 20 awarded to the world-building contest winners.

World Building Contest

A world-building contest is held throughout April as a preliminary to the actual racing event. The deadline for world submissions is set at 08:00 PM GT time on Sunday, April 28. submitting their own race worlds through a forum thread, players in the community will get a chance of having their worlds selected as the official race worlds during the Derby. 20 race worlds will be selected from the pool of entries. The players who have built each of these worlds will be given a Mint Julep.
